DFW Writers Conference 2008

The DFW Writers' Workshop is proud to announce a special two-day conference for writers of all stripes to gather and discuss the craft and business of writing.

Literary agents Doris Booth, Elaine Spencer, Paul S. Levine and Jim Donovan will be in attendance. Writers, this is your chance to meet an agent and pitch your work!

Our keynote speaker is Candace Havens, entertainment writer and author of the novels Charmed & Dangerous, Charmed & Ready and Charmed & Deadly, as well as Joss Whedon: The Genius Behind Buffy.

We'll start bright and early Saturday and Sunday. If you don't want to have to rush all the way from home in the morning, consider staying at a nearby hotel. The Baymont Inn in Grapevine has extended a courtesy rate of $99 a night if you reserve both Friday and Saturday night. This is for a limited number of rooms so make your reservations soon!
